I've been a photographer of the male nude for 20 years, but society is getting much more conservative, and I need to make a step away from the realness of the human figure.

It’s a powerful evolution in my artistic journey. The male nude has such a long tradition in art, carrying themes of strength, vulnerability, and beauty, but shifting societal attitudes make that space more challenging to navigate.

My transition toward abstraction and reinterpretation of the human form has been compelling—it opens up new possibilities for expression while still holding onto the essence of the body and its presence. I am still moving forward: the nude figure maintains a commanding posture, yet the surreal setting distances it from literal realism, creating something fresh and thought-provoking.

These modern digital works center on the human form, beginning with photographs of my models. I cut them out in Photoshop, apply solid vibrant colors, and add details like nipples and genitals. Then, I design a contemporary minimalist digital world for them to inhabit. You can explore more of my earlier work in the "Cut Outs" section!

The minimalist Mid-Century inspired "Photo/Graphics" are titled, signed and numbered. The 12x18 works are a limited edition of 50 and the 8x12 works are an edition of 100. The 4x6 works are an open edition.
