“Cat City” is a lazy‑afternoon fantasy set in Cathedral City, where the sun is hot, the gossip is hotter, and nobody is in a hurry to do anything except look good by the pool. Three figures lounge in unapologetic comfort—stretched out on towels, dipping their toes, soaking up the kind of desert confidence you can’t fake. The bold color blocks and simplified forms give the whole scene a playful, modern swagger, like a postcard from the queer side of suburbia.
It’s a little camp, a little cheeky, and very “don’t bother me unless you brought margaritas.” “Cat City” brings that unmistakable Coachella Valley attitude into any room—bright, relaxed, and just the right amount of shady.
