Discotheque is a large-scale modular collage that stages the architecture of queer joy. Composed of nine panels arranged in a 3x3 grid, the piece depicts nine distinct rooms within an imagined gay bar—each one a portal into ritual, performance, and release.
From the drag bar to the karaoke lounge, the leather bar to the outdoor smoking patio, each space pulses with stylized figures caught mid-movement: dancing, posing, conversing, cruising. The color palette shifts room to room, creating emotional zones—red for heat, blue for longing, green for emergence.
