desert artifacts

My ceramic work is rooted in the textures, geology, and mythology of the desert. I build each piece by hand, letting the clay crack, warp, and weather into forms that feel excavated rather than made. These vessels and sculptural objects carry the energy of bark, fossils, wind‑carved stone, and ancient water. They are modern artifacts—organic, imperfect, and shaped by the same forces that shape the desert itself.

On your next trip to the Coachella Valley, set aside some time and schedule a personal visit to Salon al Fresco, my open‑air home studio in Cathedral City. I’ve shaped the courtyard into a relaxed viewing space where you can spend unhurried time with the work—tea, conversation, and the desert light creating a slow, welcoming encounter with contemporary ceramics.

Most of the pieces show as “Out of Stock”—it simply means they’re too delicate (or too leafy) to ship. Every piece on this page is available for local pickup. Message me directly and I’ll set it aside for you.
