“Distant” earns its name by doing what distance does best—inviting projection. The composition unfolds like a heat map of memory: dark blue cascades into violet, blush, ember, and molten orange, before sinking into a bottom band of deep plum. There are no shapes, no landmarks—just color behaving like narrative. It’s less a sunset and more a slow revelation told in spectral intervals.
