The Ultimate in Minimalism.  I was driving home from Tucson across interstate 8 and turned up hwy 111 to go through the Salton Sea area and as I turned a corner, I saw nothing but white from ground to sky.  I had to peer intently to start to see the road and a farmhouse with a grove a trees.  Maybe some electrical lines.  I knew there were supposed to be mountains, but I could not see them at all.  I told myself this needs to be a painting.
