In Morning Blush, a lone tree stands behind a simple fence, its canopy mirrored on a glossy pink plane. A single stone rests nearby, casting its own reflection. The scene is hushed, held in gradients of rose and blush. Time feels paused—just before the day exhales.

While visiting the Como Park Conservatory in St. Paul, I photographed a series of bonsai trees. The quiet geometry and shifting light throughout the day sparked the concept for this series: a minimalist meditation on time, reflection, and stillness.
