Time-lapse meets character study. This composite collage captures a shirtless figure mid-graffiti—spray cans flying, denim shorts dusted with sand, and the wall blooming with stylized tags. Each pose documents a moment in the act, turning the artist into a choreography of motion and intent. The wall becomes a stage, the body a brush, and the desert ground a rehearsal space.
Not just a mural—this is a performance. The repetition of the figure reframes vandalism as visual music, each gesture part of a larger rhythm. The work honors street art’s urgency and its theatricality, staging the artist as both rebel and choreographer.

Aaron, the model, and I were headed out to my sand dunes just north of Palm Springs. To get there, you have to go under the highway and we found this mural plus the paint cans used to create it.  So I told him to take off his clothes (I say that to everyone) and pretend to paint.  I took about 150 shots to get this image.
