Review by Old Man Swensen, Sven’s Son

Title: “Forgotten? Not to me.”

I grew up across the road from that windmill. It used to creak like a tired fiddle when the wind came down from the north. My father, Sven, said it was the sound of the land breathing.

That yellow? It wasn’t always like that. Used to be green in spring, brown in fall, white in winter. Now it’s just... stuck. Like someone left the sun on too long.

The broken wood? That’s the fence my brother tried to jump with a tractor. Didn’t end well.

People say it’s forgotten. Maybe to them. But I remember every board, every gust, every time I got scolded for climbing that damn windmill.

This picture ain’t just art. It’s a memory trap. And I’m the mouse.
