The first vessel in the series holds the quiet tension of twilight — a plein‑air landscape wrapped around a cylindrical form. The lower band is a rough, earthen texture, dark and grounded, like land cooling at the end of the day. Above it rises a compressed ridge, a mountain silhouette caught in low light, the kind of shape that only appears when the sun is slipping away.
The upper band is the sky at crépuscule: pale, muted, barely awake or almost asleep, a soft wash of color that hovers between day and night. It’s the moment when the world exhales, when edges blur, when the sky forgets whether it’s opening or closing.
Together, the bands form a dusk‑study — a landscape distilled into three gestures, rendered as a vessel that feels like holding twilight in your hands.
