The surreal scale shifts and the suspended, desert‑timeless atmosphere nod toward Dalí, not in imagery but in the way the ordinary becomes mythic. And the sculpted calm of the shapes, the sense of a landscape with personality and presence, echoes Grant Wood’s stylized Americana.
None of these influences dominate. They simply hover in the background, the way memories of paintings linger in the mind.
