Sunrise Shadow is built around what isn’t there. The palm itself never appears; only its shadow crosses the soft gradient of morning light. That absence becomes the subject. The viewer reads the diagonal form as evidence of something just outside the frame — a presence implied, not shown. The missing palm turns the image into a quiet investigation of perception: how much of the world we understand through what it casts, not what it reveals. In Sunrise Shadow, the unseen object becomes the anchor, and the shadow becomes the only proof that it existed at all.
