In this composite portrait, the human body becomes a ladder of becoming — a rising architecture of flesh, gesture, and spirit. Multiple poses of the same figure stack and interlock, each set of limbs transforming into the foundation for the next. The lower arms extend upward and, in their upward reach, evolve into the legs of the higher being, dissolving the boundary between bodies and creating a single, ascending form.

The sepia tonality gives the figure the presence of an unearthed relic — something carved, worshipped, or remembered. The body paint, with its spirals and geometric markings, reads less as decoration and more as ritual circuitry: a map of transformation etched onto skin.

This is not a portrait of a man. It is a moment of metamorphosis — a totem rising through itself, a spirit unfolding in stages, a self becoming its next self.
