A ceramic homage to classic Palm Springs modernism. This piece captures the front elevation of a mid‑century home, complete with a butterfly roof, a bright signature entry door, and a panel of breezeblocks — the architectural trifecta that defines desert modern style. Soft blue and sandy tones frame the composition like sky and stucco, while the raised yellow breezeblock field becomes the focal point, echoing the playful geometry found throughout the city’s iconic neighborhoods. Yellow Door distills the spirit of Palm Springs into a small, sculptural snapshot of color, texture, and architectural charm.
