Terry Hastings is a Palm Springs–based artist who has exhibited in museums and galleries around the world. With a background in theatre, he brings a storyteller’s instinct to every piece—creating fun, tender, and sharply observed narratives about the gay experience.
Hastings begins each work with his own photography, then distills the scene into bold color fields, clean geometry, and emotional clarity. By removing distractions, he creates a heightened, atmospheric version of reality where mood and story do the talking.
