Stonebark Vase rises like a weathered column, its 10‑inch form shaped by the slow logic of erosion and bark. The surface carries layered ridges, torn edges, and deep crevices that echo both tree trunk and canyon wall, giving the piece a dual identity between wood and stone. The uneven rim feels naturally broken rather than cut, adding to the sense that this vessel was uncovered rather than crafted. Earth‑toned washes settle into the texture, emphasizing age, depth, and geological memory. Sculptural on its own and functional as a vessel, it stands as a quiet monument to time and the landscapes that shape it.
